Year 1 & 2

Employee Critical Illness:
Critical Illness offered in offered amounts of $5k-$50k, with both tobacco and non-tobacco plans

Eligibility is based on tobacco user answer

Spouse Critical Illness:
Critical Illness offered in incremental amounts of $2500-$25k, with both tobacco and non-tobacco plans.

Eligibility is based on enrollment in employee CI as well as tobacco user answer .

Year 3
Critical Illness can be offered in the same manner WITHOUT building out additional “existing”, “new enrollee” or “buy-up” plans. They will need to pull a 900, perform a v-lookup to the 500 to see who is moving between age bands and modify their election after the rollover/OE has been completed.
The above is the alternative to creating a number of additional plans and is an option if brokers/admins do not want all of the additional plans.
