This week we are back with information on the recent updates made to our ACAManager platform that will help you keep up-to-date as we enter the 2018 ACA season!
We have shifted ACAManager to 2018! What does that mean? It means that you can (and should) select 2018 to Refresh Dashboard and the Dashboard should default to showing you 2018 data (once refreshed).
It means that you no longer need to select the 2017 drop-down for the Refresh Eligibility button. And all drop-down dates default to 2018.
Best of all, it means that you can start glancing at the 2018 employee forms. Please note, the PDFs and the corresponding codes are 2017 “placeholders” until the IRS releases the updated 2018 PDFs and any code rule changes.
Lastly, we added the ability to quickly tell whether an employee form has been manually edited or not. We know that last year there was sometimes confusion when the Refresh Eligibility did not seem to have any effect on an employee form and it was most commonly due to an employee form having already been manually edited.
