A Standing Ovation is a special reward program at benefitexpress that honors employees who have gone above and beyond in fulfilling our Community Pillars. Each quarter, nominations are tallied, read, and carefully considered before being awarded to two employees. We announce this recognition at our company “Town Hall” all-staff meetings where the final nominations are read aloud to highlight just how much the winners have done to deserve the award. Aside from the recognition, each winner also receives a check for $2,500.


Tasbir "Taz" Singh, Client Relationship Manager, wins the first Standing Ovation award for the 2018 fourth quarter at benefitexpress.

A day in the life of Taz

As a Client Relationship Manager, Taz's day-to-day is typically comprised of managing multiple projects within his client portfolio, assisting his teammates with system or EDI questions, responding to a variety of client inquiries and troubleshooting software questions. However, Taz, is quick to point out that in his four years with benefitexpress, "No two days are ever the same. Projects are always changing and continually presenting me with new challenges and opportunity for growth."

He's not satisfied unless his clients are satisfied

Taz is highly motivated by his clients' satisfaction and states, "Satisfaction is what drives me to continue working hard every day." This client-centric attitude is profoundly reflected in a favorite memory Taz shared with us about a client who was potentially at-risk of leaving our system.

The client was reassigned to Taz and he was charged with improving, managing and restoring the relationship. Within two months, the client decided that they were not only staying on our platform, but would happily become a reference for potential clients - a turnaround!
