Best of benefitexpress
Where has time gone? As 2019 comes to an end, we reflect on these past 12 months and everything our team at benefitexpress has accomplished. If you're reading this, we thank you for being a subscriber, avid reader, client or new visitor. Our passionate and dedicated team strives to bring the best benefits administration services to our clients and partners each and every day. Before we kick off 2020 (big things coming!), we're looking back on our top 10 favorite 2019 memories.
1. Welcomed 100+ new team members
Yes, that's right! We welcomed over 100+ new team members - each of them bringing an array of talents. New hires are the lifeblood of any organization and we are thrilled that 2019 was filled so many new colleagues.
Speaking of new hires, as we approach 2020, what are you doing to improve your new hire welcoming and onboarding procedures? Now is the perfect time to revamp the onboarding process. Take a look at one of our favorite blogs from 2019 for tips and tricks on how to continue welcoming your new employees in a positive (and fun) way!
2. Speaking of expansion...
With welcoming so many new team members, we needed more space! One of our favorite memories of 2019 was the grand opening of our bright, state-of-the-art call center dedicated solely to our experienced customer care professionals.
3. ...and more expansion!
It doesn't stop there! We take being an extension of your benefits team seriously - so we leveled up in 2019 to help our clients create high quality benefits communication materials that keep employees engaged, satisfied and informed. Did you see our new communication services page we launched this year? Whether it's communication materials, microsites or workshops - we have you covered.
4. New benefitexpress blog series
You may have seen a few of our social round-up blog posts throughout the year, but we wanted to make sure you didn't miss our important social media updates! It can be tricky seeing every single social media post throughout the day. In our social round-up series, we recap our most popular social updates - and will continue to share come 2020! Be sure to give us a follow on your favorite platform:
5. Looking for free HR webinars?
We hosted ERISA compliance webinars this past year in a unique Q&A format where we answer all your questions. Whether you had questions on FMLA, HRAs in 2020 or Health Savings Accounts this year - our benefits experts have an answer.
6. Good-bye 2019, Hello Best-in-Breed
If you haven't downloaded our Best-in-Breed HR Technology Strategy e-book this year, what are you waiting for? This e-book was one of our 2019 favorite reads as it includes the advantages and disadvantages of HCM systems, how to maximize the relationship with your benefits technology partner and more!
7. It was so nice to meet you
This year was filled with lots of travel as we sponsored various events and conferences nationwide. Connecting with other organizations and sharing how our benefits administration platform can best assist different industry challenges is one of our favorite activities. Whether we met you in San Diego, Minneapolis, Nashville or in Dallas, we look forward seeing you at more events in 2020!
Keep an eye on our LinkedIn profile for status updates and upcoming events that the benefitexpress team will be attending!
8. Giving back to our community
Our core purpose is making a difference in the lives (and in the benefits experience) of every person we serve. Giving back to our community is important to our entire team and company culture - whether it's cleaning up our adopted highway, volunteering at events or donating to non-profit organizations.
We love serving our community and have so much fun doing so!
9. Artificial intelligence in 2019
Artificial intelligence was a hot topic in 2019 - especially for benefits administration and HR professionals. Heading into the New Year, what are you doing to find the "right" amount of salary and benefit offerings to increase employee satisfaction?
Need ideas? Download our favorite 2019 white paper, Using Artificial Intelligence to Guide Health Benefit Choices, to learn more about AI and how machine learning not only allows employees to feel confident about their benefit choices but gives you the ability to control costs.
10. And last but not least...
Our favorite part of 2019 was serving our clients and working closely with our partners each and every day to enhance the benefits administration process. What is our "why"? Our "why" is to make benefits easy for everyone - and to have the opportunity to make an impact on the lives and well-being of others.
From all of us at benefitexpress, happy holidays and happy New Year. We look forward to another great year. See you in 2020!
