Benefit Express Receives Women’s Business Enterprise Certification

“The WBENC certification is widely accepted and corporations are committed to doing business with certified companies because these companies are a reflection of the corporation’s employees and customers,” said Hedy Ratner, co-president of the Women’s Business Development Center.

In order to receive this certification the WBENC and their regional partner organizations require all applicants to go through a rigorous and stringent certification process to confirm the business is owned, managed, and controlled by a woman or women. Per the WBENC website, the WBENC certification for women-owned businesses is “one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation.”
